Increasing the distance

No hills today, but nearly 20km pounding the pavement along the waterfront.
20140302-190657.jpg Encouragingly, a lady pulled up beside us, walked alongside asking questions about the walk and then reached into her bra to procure some cash which she handed to us before racing off into the distance. (You’ll see we added her donation on the website – look for the note about “Christine”…and if you are Christine, thanks so much again!)
Later as we sat barefoot, airing our socks and eating a slice of solid rye bread with cheese, a couple of guys stopped to ask about what we’re doing.
So far on every training walk we’ve met at least one person with whom we’ve chatted and who has been happy to take a card with our details.
I suspect this advertising on my backpack helps:
